The common descriptions of happiness among humanity are Amoney/ talents/ sex/ looks/ or intellect/ some include FAMILY!@ These then represent possessions of specific types, and the expectation that they exist to produce a type of pleasure for you. The question is what pleasure? For money the expectation is envy in others (a form of pride and arrogance) as well as the desire for physical security & luxuries (a form of greed/ I want theirs too). For talents the expectation is Alook at me, look at me (a form of pride)@ this is a need representing an insecurity so distinct that other people represent a personal value based upon them, this is depression of sorts which becomes a roller coaster ride of emotion. For sex the expectation is for chemicals, and for proving, AI am a winner (a form of pride)@, the reality of the actual other person involved is irrelevant except for the connotation of Awinner@. The looks or sex appeal describe the fear of loneliness or the desire for manipulation (I can have a man/ woman at any time: a pride). The expectation of intellect is control/ people will follow me, I am the leader, I Asave us all@, a serious description of pride. All of these are recurring definitions of pride or fears therefore happiness is defined for these people as control of others. The consequence of manipulation of others or failure to respect their contribution is, they will NOT be your friend, unless you represent something they can also claim. This is not Afriendship@ rather the reality becomes among all involved, that this is a Abusiness deal@, a method of attaining something by bargaining for it. The expectation for happiness is therefore directly connected to what you have to offer. This is not enough for humanity, so luxury is born. The need to attain a situation which is desired by most, therefore your possessions may produce the business deal of soliciting your Afriends@. To be envied, the reward of greed among those who choose it, establishes AI am a winner/ therefore my pride is justified@. Apart from envy little can produce happiness, because it is a goal, and if you attain your goal then the competition dies and your life becomes empty & hope is useless. It is necessary Ato play the game@, because hopeless is worse.

Is this happiness? The answer is no, rather it is an expenditure of time & effort, to use life as a tool, to alter the environments of others, because manipulation makes you Afeel like a god@.

Happiness begins with self and becomes a realization of life and then family, and then GOD ! This is Aa path rather than a road@ because it requires you to make the decisions that define your life, and your hope, and your purpose, and your identity; then you must find your soul. This is a process of creation, an opportunity to investigate yourself and discover the possibilities that exist beyond self, in a universe greater than any imagination. Here happiness sees the wisdom of how precious life and the body are, creating a destiny not in mind or body, but visible in the complexity of an environment Ato beautiful for words@(this is not about how humanity acts & reacts). Here amidst reason, the soul finds expression in the grace granted by a body filled with sensual realities, motion & time, and the possibilities associated with truth and thought. Here, the only reality that exists is the definition of love and sharing and caring that honors each one of us. Realizing that we are Amore than the sum of parts or wants or needs@ WE ARE the expressions of a gift to grand to comprehend. THIS realization is the true beginning of soul, the place where the possibility of a journey into creation itself becomes real. Here LOVE IS A MESSAGE, and the message is, beyond ourselves GREATER REALITIES EXIST! The truth of love is, this is a means to encounter each other as soul Aa relationship defined, and experienced as trust@. Trust IS Athe hallowed path upon which our souls join@, it is a focus of life wherein spiritual awakening occurs! Spirit defined, is the union of 2 into 1 by the treasure of our souls reaching each other, to create a destiny of family (the honor of belonging here).
